The Melbourne Vixens are the first cab off the rank in announcing their first player signing for the 2022 Suncorp Super Netball Season.
Co-Captain Kate Moloney is back in 2022 for the Melbourne Vixens. After a disappointing 2021 season, the Vixens will be looking to bounce back next season, and they are certainly on the right with signing Moloney.
“I absolutely love the Vixens and everything the team, from players to staff, stands for so this was a no-brainer for me,” Moloney said in the Facebook Live announcement.
“We’ve taken a lot of learnings from this year, and I know we’re going to put that into our efforts for the 2022 season – starting now. We’re eyeing off the trophy.”
The Sharelle McMahon medalist is a linchpin in the side she is so passionate about. In the 2021 season, Moloney had 154 assists, 8 intercepts and 19 deflections.
With 2022 being her 10th elite season, be sure to watch out for her continued drive to put her best foot forward.
