What is it about Swifts v Firebirds games having more heat than Housby’s spice mix broccoli? Swifts start their current season with a thrilling extra time battle against their northern rivals.

Sharni’s Farewell: SSN Magpies v Giants 2018

Struggling throughout the 2018 season, the Magpies do their best to celebrate one of Australia’s best with one last home game at Hisense Arena.

Not a Gee-long Time in Retirement: Madi Browne’s 2021 season with the VNL Geelong Cougars

Super Netball’s loss is State Netball’s gain, as a Diamonds icon comes out of retirement to play for Geelong in the Victorian Netball League alongside some of the pathway’s hottest young talent.

Taking Surrey By Storm: VNSL Celtic Dragons v Surrey Storm Round 13 2021

Good As Gold: Commonwealth Games England v Australia Final 2018

A VIC-tory For Those In Lockdown: SSN Fever v Vixens 2020 Grand Final

Forced into a hub as their home state dealt with a lockdown, the Melbourne Vixens give everyone something to smile about, with a smile-inducing win over the Fever for their first SSN trophy.

Some Pre-season Magic: ANZP Magic v SSN Swifts Preseason 2020

Before the pandemic, Magic and Swifts came together from across the ditch to play some preseason netball. A rare chance in the modern era to see SSN take on ANZP teams.

With one of the hottest names in international netball for a coach, and plenty of top talent on the roster, is it any wonder that Lightning were SSN’s first superpower?

One of the few Australian State leagues still going during the latest outbreak, Queensland’s Sapphire Series is heading towards finals season and showcasing some great young talent.
