Collingwood Magpies Netball is the first Suncorp Super Netball side to confirm its playing group for the 2022 season,
The club shocked the netball world on Friday evening when it confirmed former Swifts goaler Sophie Garbin would join the club on a two-year deal.
The same announcement saw Maggie Lind elevated from training partner for one season.
However, the excitement led to an announcement on Saturday morning that both midcourter Mel Bragg and goaler Kalifa McCollin would exit the club in search of new opportunities.

Inspirational leader and 200-gamer Geva Mentor, who is with England Roses, will make her return to the club, alongside fan favourite Ash Brazill who is in Diamonds camp.
Superstar Kelsey Browne is also committed to another run at the Holden Centre.
The club’s 2021 Best and Fairest defender Jodi-Ann Ward returns alongside Mentor and Jacqui Newtonin the defensive circle and midcourt sensation Molly Jovic also remains in coach Nicole Richardson’s plans.
To join Garbin, goalers Shimona Nelson and Gabrielle Sinclair are back.
